Fall Pictures

I've been taking a lot of pictures lately, and it's becoming quite a hobby for me. I got a new camera for Christmas and I'm really starting to learn more about it. I'm pretty sure my kids are getting tired of being my subjects :) These next pictures we took to give to our parents for Grandparent's day.

I took these in Bill and Patti's backyard. Patti wanted some new pictures. The last family one we had taken, didn't have Kami in it and Brooke was only 6 months old! They are all super out of order but it takes forever to try to change the order of them. The ones with Brody and just our girls are mixed in with them. Oops!

Happy Birthday, Birthday, Birthday!!!

It was birthday central around here for a few weeks! Within four weeks we celebrated Ellie's 2nd birthday, Kami's 1st birthday and Hadley's 4th birthday.

We had Kami's party at my Mom and Dad's house.

This is a photo album that Uncle Stuart, Aunt Jackie and Brody got for Kami. It is personalized on the cover and you can add your favorite pictures. There she is with Brody's page. She will carry it around and kiss his page. She just loves her Brody!

Kami really didn't care about opening her presents, so we let the kids open the present they brought for her. As we go to more and more birthday parties, I'm realizing just how chaotic opening presents is.

We celebrated Hadley's birthday with a party at Bill and Patti's. We rented the big blow up movie screen and watched Madagascar. We had a lot of fun --but we froze! It was so cold and windy that night. At her first birthday party we were all sweating in the 90 degree heat. That's an Illinois fall for ya!

On Saturday morning before Hadley's party, we went over to my mom and dad's to skype with Stuart, Jackie and Brody so they could watch Hads open her present from them. So, we are skyping and all of a sudden, my mom and dad are in the frame with Stuart, Jackie and Brody!!!! They were in the toy room skyping while we were upstairs! They had surprised us and flew in from Florida for her party! This was by far the best birthday present Hadley got. We were all so surprised and so happy they were able to come home. I just wish they could have stayed longer. More pictures of Brody soon. We took some fall cousins pictures and I will share those in the next blog.

I have decided that I need to hire a photographer for my kid's birthday parties! They can make sure I get all the shots I need for our books. We didn't get a family picture, so here's the best I can do. Sorry Kami :)

Ellie turned two in September and she had her party at Cheer Zone. This is where we had Brooke's party too. The kids had fun with the ribbons, foam pit, trampoline, and parachute.

Check out Brian's face in that one... I think we were both shocked she jumped! This was after running all the way down the trampoline, too. I was amazed at how much more confident Brooke was this time. She did a lot of watching at her party, but this party she was really into everything and having a great time!

Happy Birthday, Ellie Morgan! Uncle Brian, Aunt Heather, Hadley, Brooke and Kami LOVE YOU! We hope you had a fun time! We weren't able to see Ellie on her actual birthday this year. Her cousin had whooping cough ( :( Poor Addy) and Ellie wasn't feeling well either. Just to be on the safe side, her doctor had her stay away from kids for the week, and of course it was the week of her birthday.

In other "birthday" news... Ellie is going to be a big sister! Brad and Devin are expecting their 2nd child on April 3rd. Congratulations! They find out in a few weeks what they are having! Will the Tweryon's continue with the girl trend or will the cycle be broken??? I'm sure you can all guess what Hadley is hoping for. :) Please keep their family in your prayers.

While you are praying for healthy babies, I have a few requests. Please pray for our friends Bryan and Kristin Romadka. They are due in May and received some news that their baby has a cyst on the back of its neck. They are monitoring this closely and will know more as the baby grows. Please pray for strength for them, their families and their baby.

Also, our friends Sara and Diego Garcia will be having their baby next month. The baby has spina bifida and will be born down in St. Louis. The baby will also be treated in the NICU where Brooke was. Please keep their baby and family in your prayers.

Our good friends Will and Courtney Lovett are expecting baby #3 in May and Devin's brother Dustin and his wife Missy are expecting #2 in March, just a couple weeks before Devin.
